A terrace over the Douro: once used for planting vines, olive groves, almond trees, and cereals. This terrace, among several which show through the thicket, would serve as support for the cultivation, complemented by a small house, an oven and a threshing-floor.

Gradually, we discovered these constructions, restoring them, and giving them a new purpose: our dining and living room, where we can contemplate the powerful Douro River flowing below, tamed by the dams. This is where we welcome our guests.
